Why "lone wolf"?

"Lone Wolf" is a play on words. Besides the deep repect I have for wolves. "Lone wolf" means that, since wolves are pack creatures, I am a "wolf" looking for a "pack" to run with.

It also means that I am "lone" in the sense that I work well on my own, but since I view myself as a wolf, that means that I am a "pack" creature, who works just as well, if not better, in a "pack" than I would if I worked alone. For this reason, this (the "Lone Wolf" as well as the "Pack creature mentality") would stick with me when I find a "pack" to run with.
